The role emphasizes document numbering, version control, filing systems, and ensuring the latest approved drawings are circulated to the project team.

Applicants should have a Diploma or Degree in a relevant field, strong MS Office skills, and experience with document control

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Previous experience as a Document Controller in construction or engineering is preferred.
• Familiar with construction documents, document registers, transmittals, RFIs, and submissions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and document filing systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain project documents, drawings, correspondence, reports, and records.
• Control the issuance, distribution, revision, and filing of project documents and drawings.
• Maintain proper document numbering, version control, and document registers.
• Ensure only the latest approved drawings/documents are circulated and used by the project team.
• Track incoming and outgoing documents, submissions, approvals, RFIs, transmittals, and related correspondence.
• Coordinate documentation between the project team, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Maintain both hardcopy and electronic filing systems in an organized manner.
• Follow up on outstanding documents, submissions, approvals, and document revisions.
