Job summary

Advanced Prestige Sdn Bhd (Sutera Harbour Resort) is seeking a Distribution Executive to support the Revenue team by maintaining rates, availability, and inventory across all channels including OTAs, brand.com, metasearch, GDS, and offline agents.

The role ensures rate parity, accurate listings, and timely channel reports while collaborating with Reservations, Sales, MARCOM and Finance to drive direct bookings and third-party production.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business or related field.
• 1–2 years in hotel distribution, e-commerce or reservations preferred.
• Knowledge of SiteMinder, Lighthouse, PMS and OTA extranets; good Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Responsibilities

• Load and maintain rates, availability, restrictions and promotions on all channels.
• Implement BAR changes, inventory updates and stop-sell/min-stay controls as instructed by Revenue Manager.
• Create rate plans and complete rate mapping in channel manager, PMS and OTA extranets.
• Check rate parity daily with Lighthouse and test bookings; report discrepancies and rate leakage.
• Ensure brand.com rates, offers and booking links are accurate, and check metasearch price accuracy.
• Keep descriptions, images, facilities and policies accurate on all channels, including Google Business Profile.
• Improve OTA content and listing scores, monitor guest review scores by channel.
• Monitor channel manager, PMS and booking engine connectivity; raise issues with vendors.
• Assist Reservations and Finance on OTA and direct booking billing, payment and VCC issues.
• Maintain good relationships with OTA market managers and follow extranet security practices (2FA, no shared logins, report phishing).
• Prepare pick-up, weekly and monthly channel production reports and management slides; stay updated on distribution trends.

Job description

The Distribution Executive supports the Revenue team in the daily execution of distribution across all properties. The role keeps rates, availability and inventory (ARI) accurate on all channels (OTAs, brand.com,

metasearch, GDS and offline travel agents), protects rate parity, keeps listings up to date and prepares timely channel reports.

The Executive works closely with Reservations, Sales, MARCOM and Finance to support direct bookings and third-party production.

Responsibilities

2. Rate Parity & Direct Booking

• Check rate parity daily with Lighthouse and test bookings; report discrepancies and rate leakage the same day.
• Ensure brand.com rates, offers and booking links are accurate, and check metasearch (e.g. Google Hotel Ads) price accuracy.

3. Content & Listings

• Keep descriptions, images, facilities and policies accurate and consistent on all channels, including Google Business Profile.
• Improve OTA content and listing scores, and monitor guest review scores by channel.

4. Systems & Coordination

• Monitor channel manager, PMS and booking engine connectivity; raise and follow up issues with vendors and OTA support.
• Assist Reservations and Finance on OTA and direct booking billing, payment and virtual card (VCC) issues.
• Maintain good relationships with OTA market managers and follow extranet security practice (2FA, no shared logins, report phishing).

5. Reporting

• Prepare pick-up, weekly and monthly channel production reports and management presentation slides as required.
• Stay up to date with distribution trends and suggest areas of improvement.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business or a related field; 1–2 years in hotel distribution, e-commerce or reservations preferred.
• Knowledge of SiteMinder, Lighthouse (Rate shopping and Parity tools), PMS and OTA extranets; good Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Detail-oriented, with good communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage.
