Job summary

Dancom TT&L Telecommunications (M) Sdn Bhd – Melaka, Melaka is hiring an Area Executive to drive dealer sales in the Melaka region. The role requires coordinating with the field sales team to meet monthly targets and ensuring dealers are well-supported and trained.

The position offers a 1-year contract with renewal prospects, an emphasis on hands-on selling, and the need to maintain good relations with dealers while achieving growth in distribution and activation KPIs.

Qualifications

• Sales experience of at least 1 year, preferably in FMCG.
• Familiarity with the telecommunications industry is a plus.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Melayu for diverse communications.
• Results- and action-oriented with ability to work independently.
• Own transport and willingness to travel within Melaka area.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the principal field sales team to achieve monthly sales and activation targets.
• Service dealers in a pre-assigned territory on a scheduled call frequency to achieve sales targets and ensure no out-of-stock.
• Manage total dealers in the territory and recruit new dealers to expand product distribution.
• Ensure dealer staff are trained in product and promotion knowledge to engage effectively with consumers.
• Implement merchandising POSM according to planogram.
• Collect market intelligence and provide timely feedback on competitors' activities.
