Job summary

RUNJIAN (M) SDN. BHD. is seeking a Project Manager to lead distributed solar PV EPC projects across Malaysia, including KL/JB. You will oversee planning, procurement, construction, and commissioning, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery while managing budgets and stakeholder expectations.

The role requires strong leadership, deep knowledge of electrical regulations, and experience with AutoCAD and project management tools; willingness to travel to project sites nationwide is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in solar PV, electrical engineering, renewable energy, or EPC construction projects.
• Proven experience managing commercial and industrial rooftop solar projects is preferred.
• Familiar with distributed solar PV systems, EPC project delivery, utility interconnection processes, and construction management.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for planning, execution, quality, safety, schedule, and cost management of distributed solar PV EPC projects.
• Develop project execution plans, construction schedules, procurement plans, and resource allocation plans.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, logistics, subcontractors, and construction teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage project budgets, monitor costs, and ensure projects are delivered within approved financial targets.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, utility companies, local authorities, and other stakeholders to obtain approvals and facilitate project implementation.
• Organize site meetings, monitor construction progress, and resolve technical and operational issues.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian electrical regulations, construction standards, environmental requirements, and occupational safety regulations.
• Oversee project testing, commissioning, grid connection, project acceptance, and handover documentation.
• Prepare project progress reports, risk assessments, and management updates.
• Lead project teams to achieve high standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
