Bureau Veritas Malaysia is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead solar rooftop/utility-scale projects. You will manage schedules, budgets and deliverables while coordinating with clients, EPCs, consultants and authorities to ensure on-time completion.

The role requires strong communication, risk management and hands-on site oversight, with travel to project sites across Malaysia as needed.

Qualificações

• Degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5-8 years of project management experience in solar, renewable energy, electrical, construction or infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with MS Project, Excel and project reporting tools.

Responsabilidades

• Manage overall project execution schedule, budget, scope and deliverables.
• Coordinate with clients, EPC contractors, consultants, authorities and internal teams.
• Track project progress and provide regular updates to management.
• Identify project risks, delays and issues, and propose practical solutions.
• Ensure proper project documentation, approvals and records are maintained.
• Oversee site activities and ensure works follow approved drawings and statements.
• Coordinate kick-off meetings and progress reviews.
• Monitor contractor performance, manpower, materials and quality.
• Support resolution of technical, site and coordination issues.
• Ensure HSE compliance and permit-to-work requirements.
• Coordinate with HSE for site inspections and risk assessments.
• Act as the key project contact for client coordination and updates.
• Manage client expectations professionally and escalate matters when required.
• Coordinate with authorities, landlords and stakeholders as applicable.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, inspections and approvals.
• Ensure punch lists are closed and handover to O&M is prepared.
• Ensure final documentation and as-built drawings are compiled.
