Job summary

CIMB seeks an Applications Engineering Lead – Digital Wealth to guide the engineering, delivery, and operational excellence of our digital wealth platforms. You will own end-to-end delivery, drive secure and scalable solutions, and collaborate with Business, Product, Architecture, and Engineering teams to realize CIMB's growth ambitions.

This leadership role requires 12–15 years in software engineering and 5–8 years leading technical teams, with strong experience in banking/fintech digital

Qualifications

• 12–15 years of software engineering experience.
• 5–8 years of experience leading technical teams.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise applications in banking/fintech/digital platforms.
• Strong ownership, solution delivery and engineering leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end accountability for Digital Wealth applications and platforms.
• Lead engineering teams across delivery initiatives and ensure production stability.
• Drive SDLC adherence, best practices, and Agile methodologies.
• Oversee CI/CD, release management, and production excellence.
