Private Advertiser in Kulai, Malaysia seeks a DIP Equipment Engineer to lead technical management of server motherboard production lines, troubleshoot and optimize wave soldering and automatic insertion systems for higher OEE and quality.

You will develop preventive maintenance, SOPs, and spare parts strategies, and collaborate with Process Engineering to refine manufacturing processes. Bilingual Chinese/English required.

Qualificações

• Diploma or above in Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a DIP Equipment Engineer in server PCBA manufacturing or other electronics industries.
• Strong knowledge of wave soldering machines and fully automatic insertion machines, including their operating principles, setup, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Familiar with the complete DIP manufacturing process for server motherboards and IPC-A-610 soldering standards.
• Experience in lead-free wave soldering process optimization is required.

Responsabilidades

• Responsible for the technical management of all equipment in the DIP production line: troubleshooting, setup, optimization, and handling of major equipment faults.
• Develop equipment preventive maintenance, repair, and operating procedures; manage spare parts inventory to improve equipment availability and OEE.
• Lead new equipment introduction, selection, installation, commissioning, and acceptance; optimize equipment parameters and soldering processes to improve yield.
• Conduct training and competency development for DIP technicians; establish SOPs and technical standards.
• Collaborate with Process Engineering to optimize manufacturing processes and resolve equipment-related issues during production.

Responsible for the technical management of all equipment in the server motherboard DIP production line, including troubleshooting, setup, optimization, and handling of major equipment failures involving wave soldering machines, automatic insertion machines, and other related equipment.

Develop equipment preventive maintenance, repair, and operating procedures. Manage equipment spare parts selection and inventory to improve equipment availability and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).

Lead new equipment introduction, selection, installation, commissioning, and acceptance. Optimize equipment parameters and soldering processes to improve DIP production yield.

Conduct technical training and competency development for DIP technicians. Establish equipment-related SOPs and technical standards.

Work closely with the Process Engineering Department to optimize manufacturing processes and resolve equipment-related technical issues during production.

Optimize wave soldering process parameters to reduce soldering defects and improve product quality.

Job Requirements

Diploma or above in Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience as a DIP Equipment Engineer in server PCBA manufacturing or other electronics industries. Strong knowledge of wave soldering machines and fully automatic insertion machines, including their operating principles, setup, commissioning, and troubleshooting.

Familiar with the complete DIP manufacturing process for server motherboards and IPC-A-610 soldering standards. Experience in lead-free wave soldering process optimization is required.

Able to independently optimize equipment parameters, troubleshoot major equipment failures, and manage new equipment introduction. Proficient in written and spoken Chinese and English.

Strong problem-solving skills and technical troubleshooting capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in managing DIP production line equipment for server motherboards.

Experience in setting up and managing automated component insertion production lines.
