Job summary

GENITRONIC (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. in Sungai Petani, Kedah, is seeking a hands-on electronics technician to set up, operate and troubleshoot selective soldering machines for DIP/through-hole PCBA production.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or related field.
• Hands-on experience in DIP / through-hole assembly, selective soldering or wave soldering in a PCBA or electronics manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, PCB assembly drawings and component polarity markings.
• Familiarity with soldering defects, basic solder-joint inspection and ESD controls.
• Candidates with relevant hands-on experience may also be considered.

Job description

Job Requirements

A Certificate or Diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field. Candidates with relevant hands-on experience may also be considered.

Preferably 1-3 years of experience in DIP / through-hole assembly, selective soldering or wave soldering in a PCBA or electronics manufacturing environment.

Hands-on experience in machine setup, changeovers, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.

Ability to read and interpret work instructions, PCB assembly drawings and component polarity markings.

Familiarity with soldering defects, basic solder-joint inspection and electrostatic discharge (ESD) controls.
