Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee the entire server PCBA production line, including SMT, DIP, and pre-processing. You will formulate annual targets, drive lean initiatives, and ensure key metrics such as capacity, yield, delivery, and cost stay on track.

You will lead a skilled production team, enforce safety standards under Malaysian regulations, and coordinate with quality, PMC, and engineering to manage anomalies and ramp up new capacity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of management experience in server PCBA or electronics manufacturing.
• Experience in building a new factory production line from scratch preferred.
• Fluent in English and Chinese; strong communication with local teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall operation and management of production including SMT, DIP, and pre-processing.
• Formulate production strategies and annual targets; manage capacity, yield, delivery, and cost.
• Establish standardized production management system and promote lean production.
• Control costs, material losses, and production efficiency; drive 8S and ESD implementation.
• Lead construction, training, and performance management of the production team; comply with Malaysian laws and OSHA.
• Handle production anomalies and plan capacity ramp-up; coordinate with quality, PMC, and engineering.
• Ensure server PCBA meets IPC-A-610 Class 3 high standards and client requirements.
• Review production process reports and SOPs; implement production data traceability.
• Communicate with internal teams and clients to ensure smooth operations under pressure.

Job description

Oversee the overall operation and management of the entire production process, including SMT, DIP, and pre-processing; formulate server PCBA production strategies and annual targets; and be responsible for core indicators such as capacity, yield, delivery, and cost.

Key responsibilities

Establish a standardized production management system, promote lean production, and strictly control production costs, material losses, and production efficiency

Be responsible for the construction, training, and performance management of the production team, and implement the requirements of the Malaysian Employment Act and OSHA Occupational Safety and Health Administration

Lead the handling of production anomalies and the planning of new factory capacity ramp-up; and coordinate with core departments such as quality, PMC, and engineering

Be responsible for customer-related production audits and coordination to ensure that server PCBA production meets IPC-A-610 Class 3 high-level standards and customer requirements

Review all production process reports and SOP documents, establish a production data traceability system, and supervise the implementation of 8S and ESD electrostatic protection systems

Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.

Minimum 5 years of management experience in a similar role in a server PCBA or other electronics manufacturing plant; experience in building a new factory production line from scratch is preferred.

Proficient in the entire SMT/DIP production process for server motherboards; familiar with Lean/6Sigma manufacturing systems; experience in large-scale mass production management.

Familiar with Malaysian employment regulations and occupational safety and health standards; fluent in both English and Chinese; able to communicate seamlessly with local teams and clients.

Strong organizational management, problem-solving, and cross-departmental coordination skills; able to work under pressure.
