Job summary

BAT is seeking a Digital HR Intern in Subang Jaya, Malaysia, to join the HR Business Partnering team and provide secretarial and administrative support. You will contribute to employee lifecycle activities and help drive the strategic people agenda.

You will report to the HR Business Partner, collaborate with the global HR community, and gain hands-on experience in HR operations, data reporting, events, and internal communications, while building your career with BAT.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Willing to learn mindset and positive attitude.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Degree holder in any field; bonus for related studies in analytics/HR/management.

Responsibilities

• Support HRBPs in daily HR operations, employee lifecycle activities, policy reviews, and HR customer service.
• Coordinate employee recognition programs and support company-wide people initiatives.
• Generate HR reports and provide data-driven support across key people agenda pillars.
• Plan and support internal events, communications, and employee engagement activities.
• Create engaging internal and social media content and drive process improvements.
