Job summary

BAT is offering a Finance Intern position in Subang Jaya, Malaysia. The role supports the Tax Compliance team, learning tax and financial reporting tasks and submitting internal and external reports, under supervision.

The internship reports to the Assistant Manager, Statutory Reporting and Projects, with an individual contributor role in a regional scope across Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa. The ideal candidate has a bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance, strong English communication, basic

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience in Accounting/Finance or similar qualifications (e.g. ACCA / CPA).
• Good command of English spoken and written.
• Basic computer programming understanding - MS Office (Excel, Words, PPT).
• Good verbal/written communication skills and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Build, update, and modify files pertaining to Withholding Tax / Sales and Services Tax.
• Extract, review and update E-invoicing reporting templates.
• Explore and learn how to extract information from ERP software, analysis and third-party software used for different projects.
• Development of new skills on engaging with own team and other stakeholders.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Build, update, and modify files pertaining to Withholding Tax / Sales and Services Tax
• Extract, review and update E-invoicing reporting templates
• Explore and learn how to extract information from ERP software, analysis and third-party software used for different projects
• Development of new skills on engaging with own team and other stakeholders.
