Job summary

NXP Semiconductors Malaysia is seeking an experienced Die Attach Equipment Technician to maintain and repair the Die Attach line, including loader, unloader, AOI and reflow equipment. The role requires independence, strong troubleshooting skills and a focus on meeting OEE and MTBA/MTBF goals.

Responsibilities include equipment setup for product changes, and ensuring critical spares and tooling are secured. The candidate should have a Diploma in Electrical & Electronics or Mechanical Engineering

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical & Electronics or Mechanical Engineering, or certificate with 5+ years in Die Attach equipment.
• Experience in semiconductor assembly and statistics is an advantage.
• Solid knowledge of front and back-end assembly equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Die Attach integrated line equipment including loader, unloader, AOI and reflow.
• Setup or convert equipment for product changes in Die Attach line.
• Identify and source critical spare parts and tooling.
• Improve OEE, MTBA/MTBF and minimize downtime.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards.
