Job summary

KPJ Kluang Specialist Hospital is seeking an Admin Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Diagnostic Imaging Services department. You will handle patient registration, scheduling, data entry, and medical records while liaising with Radiologists and Radiographers to ensure smooth patient flow.

As the first point of contact, you will deliver courteous, patient-centered service, maintain confidentiality, and assist with billing, documentation, and reports.

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in clerical or healthcare support is preferred.
• Respect confidentiality and patient privacy in handling data.

Responsibilities

• Handle patient registration, scheduling, and appointment management.
• Verify patient details and documentation before imaging.
• Maintain and update patient records in HIS/PACS.
• Coordinate communication between patients, radiographers, doctors, and departments.
• Assist in billing and charge entry in line with hospital policies.
• Print and distribute imaging reports to doctors.
• Manage front desk and waiting area to ensure a professional environment.
• Provide chaperone support during ultrasound examinations when required.
• Support quality initiatives and audits.
