Working Model: Hybrid / Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Form of cooperation: B2B Contract / Perm

Tasks:

• Cloud Infrastructure Management – Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure primarily on AWS using Infrastructure as Code and automation.
• CI/CD Pipeline Development – Build, operate, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable software releases, automated deployments, and self-service capabilities for development teams.
• Platform Operations & Support – Provide 2nd and 3rd level support, coordinate releases, resolve incidents, perform root cause analysis, and drive continuous platform improvements.
• Infrastructure Automation – Implement automated provisioning, configuration management, and operational workflows using Infrastructure as Code and modern DevOps practices.
• Security & Platform Governance – Apply cloud security standards, access management, and enterprise architecture principles while ensuring platform compliance and operational excellence.
• Monitoring & Reliability Engineering – Monitor infrastructure health, improve observability, optimize performance, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency using monitoring tools and best practices.
• Technical Innovation & AI Adoption – Evaluate new technologies, leverage AI-assisted engineering, and introduce automation to improve platform operations and engineering efficiency.

Must-Have Skills:

• Cloud & DevOps Experience – Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or similar role with responsibility for designing and operating cloud platforms.
• AWS & Cloud Platform Expertise – Strong knowledge of AWS or comparable cloud platforms with hands‑on experience building scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure.
• Infrastructure Automation Skills – Hands‑on experience with Infrastructure as Code, containers, CI/CD pipelines, and tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS.
• Monitoring & System Performance – Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as CloudWatch or Datadog, including performance optimization and reliability improvements.
• Cloud Architecture Knowledge – Good understanding of microservices architecture, networking, system performance, and modern cloud engineering principles.
• Collaboration & Problem Solving – Strong analytical, communication, and ownership skills with the ability to work effectively in Agile, cross‑functional product teams.
• Education & AI Exposure – Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with hands‑on exposure to AI-assisted engineering or DevOps automation.

Nice‑to‑have Skills:

• Programming & Scripting Skills – Experience with Java, Python, or similar programming and scripting languages.
• Event‑Driven Architecture Knowledge – Familiarity with event-driven design and distributed systems.
• Development Tooling Experience – Experience with Atlassian tools including Jira and Confluence.
• Application Development Knowledge – Familiarity with Spring Framework, Angular, Node.js, PostgreSQL, or similar technologies.
