Job summary

EDV Werke in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS, with IaC and automation. The role combines platform engineering, CI/CD, and 2nd/3rd line support in a hybrid work model.

Ideal candidates have hands-on AWS, IaC, containers, and monitoring experience, plus collaboration in Agile teams. The position offers a B2B contract or permanent arrangement and the chance to advance in a dynamic tech environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing and operating cloud platforms.
• Proven AWS expertise with scalable infrastructure.
• Proficient in IaC, containers, CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with monitoring/observability and performance tuning.
• Strong microservices, networking, and cloud engineering knowledge.
• Collaborative, Agile, cross-functional work style.
• CS/Eng degree with exposure to AI-assisted engineering or automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Develop, operate, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for reliable releases.
• Provide 2nd/3rd level platform support and coordinate releases.
• Automate provisioning and config management using IaC.
• Apply cloud security standards and governance.
• Improve observability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Evaluate new technologies and AI-assisted automation.
