EDV Werke is looking for a QA Automation Engineer

Working Model: Remote

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Form of cooperation: B2B Contract

Tasks:

• API & Integration Testing – Design and execute automated API and integration tests for the cloud-based middleware platform
• Microservices Testing – Validate individual services and end-to-end behavior across distributed microservices
• Event-Driven Testing – Test event-driven workflows and message processing across integrated AWS services
• BDD Automation – Develop and maintain Behavior-Driven Development tests using Cucumber
• Performance Testing – Conduct performance and load testing using Gatling to assess system reliability and scalability
• CI/CD Integration – Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and delivery
• Infrastructure Validation – Verify AWS infrastructure configuration and interactions between cloud services
• Quality Engineering – Identify defects, analyze test results, and improve automation coverage and overall solution quality

Must-Have Skills:

• QA Experience – At least 5 years of experience in QA automation, software testing, or quality engineering
• AWS Cloud – Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud environments
• Automation & BDD – Practical experience with QA automation, Cucumber, and Behavior-Driven Development
• Performance Testing – Hands-on experience with Gatling for performance and load testing
• API & Integration Testing – Experience designing and executing automated API and integration tests
• CI/CD Pipelines – Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD workflows
• Cloud Architecture – Experience testing microservices and event-driven architectures
• AWS Services – Practical knowledge of SQS, SNS, EventBridge, Lambda, ECS, S3, and API Gateway
• Analytical Skills – Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
