Job summary

Luxoft in Malaysia seeks a skilled IBM i (AS400) consultant to develop and maintain banking applications, configure environments, and manage data integration tasks. You will work with RPG/CL, DB2 on AS400, and batch processing via Control-M within a technology centre in Kuala Lumpur.

The role requires 4+ years on the AS400 platform, and experience with ALDON CMS, SFTP, and ETL workflows. Strong problem-solving, communication, and adaptability are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of strong experience with IBM i (AS400) platform.
• Programming experience in RPG and CL.

• Support development and troubleshooting across production and non-production environments.
• Participate in CI/CD processes and automated deployments.
• Collaborate with teams to implement ETL workflows and support banking data pipelines.

The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance, and planning support and services. They work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising, and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Malaysia and overseas branches.

The client has more than 80 years of history in the banking industry and is expanding its footprint in Malaysia.
