Job summary

EITA-Schneider (Mfg) Sdn Bhd based in Bandar Bukit Raja, Klang is hiring a Design Engineer to design lift systems per EN standards, prepare fabrication drawings, and support new product development. The role involves site inspections and resolving installation-related issues to ensure successful project execution.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical or Mechatronic), with Mandarin proficiency preferred for client communications.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical or Mechatronic).
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

• SolidWorks proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Design lift systems compliant with EN standards and prepare fabrication drawings from project specs.
• Support new product development and provide technical support via site inspections.
• Check and confirm shop drawings and TOS; respond to technical enquiries from sales.

Job description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Design Engineer based in Bandar Bukit Raja, Klang. The individual in this role will be responsible for designing lift systems in compliance with EN standards, preparing fabrication drawings based on project specifications, and supporting new product development. The role also involves providing technical support through site inspections and troubleshooting installation-related issues to ensure smooth project execution.

Responsibilities:

Responsible to check and confirm shop drawings and TOS.

Responsible to design the lift system (Traction Calculation) based on EN standard.

To prepare fabrication drawing based on specification required.

To handle technical enquiries from sales department.

To attend site inspection in order to rectify installation problem whenever necessary.

Requirements:

Posses at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent

Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred, as the role requires communication with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Proficient in using SolidWorks software.

Office based at Bandar Bukit Raja, Klang.
