Our client, a multinational in the engineering sector, seeks an Engineer, Layout Design to be based in their office at Uptown Damansara. The role focuses on mechanical and layout expertise to support sales engineers by assessing feasibility and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities include detailed layout drawings for elevators, escalators, and moving walks, collaborating with field operations to optimize installation processes, and delivering safe, quality-driven

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Experience with elevator/escalator installations is a plus.
• Strong understanding of mechanical layout and design principles.

Responsibilities

• Execute detailed layout drawings for elevator, escalator, and moving walk installations and modernizations.
• Calculate and determine technical feasibility of installation plans to support proposals.
• Collaborate with field operations to streamline installation processes and resolve on-site challenges.

Our client is a MNC in Engineering field and they are looking for an Engineer, Layout Design to be based in their office at Uptown Damansara. The primary purpose of the role is to leverage extensive mechanical and layout expertise to support sales engineers by calculating and assessing the technical feasibility of orders, ensuring compliance with all elevator, escalator, and moving walk installations and modernizations. This role mandates the execution of detailed offers antechnical specifications and industry standards. Responsibilities include close coordination with field operations to refine installation processes and resolve technical challenges encountered on-site. The position contributes significantly to completing projects efficiently, safely, and with the highest quality standards, thereby improving customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Job Description

• Execute detailed layout drawings for elevator, escalator, and moving walk installations and modernizations, ensuring all technical specifications and industry standards are met.


• Calculate and determine the technical feasibility of installation plans, offering specialized mechanical and layout expertise to support sales engineers in proposal development.


• Collaborate closely with field operations teams to streamline installation processes, resolve on-site technical challenges, and optimize overall project efficiency and safety.


• Coordinate with sales engineers, project team to ensure technical requirements are met and project timelines are respected.


• Communicate effectively with colleagues, managers, and customers to deliver updates, technical insights, and solutions, fostering a collaborative and customer-focused work environment.


• Drive and promote safe behavior in accordance with the OH&S Management System.
