Job summary

CACEIS Malaysia is seeking a Depositary Control Officer to ensure robust client portfolio compliance within the asset servicing framework. Located in IOI City, Putrajaya, this role focuses on complex fund controls and UCITS regulatory adherence.

Key duties include analyzing fund documentation, assessing exceptions in ALTO, and communicating breaches to the oversight team. Collaboration with global colleagues supports high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications

• Understanding and performing fund analysis with minimal support.
• Investigation and analysis on exceptions identified in ALTO, with breach status determination (active, passive, warning, technical breach).
• Analysis of fund prospectus and information from external data providers (Bloomberg, Telekurs, etc.).
• Understanding and applying UCITS rules and legal requirements.

Responsibilities

• Understand and perform control for complex funds with minimal support.
• Investigate and analyze ALTO exceptions and determine breach status.
• Review fund prospectus and external data provider information.
• Provide explanations to the oversight team on newly identified breaches via email.
