Job summary

Alphv Recruit in Kuala Lumpur seeks a seasoned Project Delivery Lead to drive regional enterprise infrastructure and AI Data Centre projects from initiation to handover. You will coordinate customers, vendors and engineering teams to ensure scope, timelines and budgets are met, with overseas assignments as needed.

The role demands at least 5 years in technology project management, strong stakeholder and planning skills, Mandarin proficiency for regional communications, and willingness to travel

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in technology or infrastructure projects.
• Experience coordinating customers, vendors and project teams.
• Strong planning, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Business-level Mandarin required for regional communication.
• Willing to travel overseas for extended assignments.
• Familiar with enterprise IT infrastructure, data centres or AI infrastructure.
• Knowledge of project planning, risk management and governance.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of project delivery from initiation and planning through execution, commissioning and final handover.
• Develop project plans, timelines, milestones and resource requirements based on project scope.
• Act as the main point of contact for customers, managing expectations, progress updates and project-related issues.
• Coordinate internal engineering teams, vendors and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, resolve unexpected issues and elevate when necessary.
• Manage project meetings, change requests, acceptance procedures and delivery documentation.

• A fast-growing regional technology solutions provider specializing in enterprise infrastructure and AI Data Centre (AIDC) solutions.
• Operating across 11 entities in the Asia-Pacific region, serving both traditional enterprise customers and emerging AI infrastructure clients.
• Currently expanding its delivery capabilities and transitioning from traditional IT infrastructure solutions towards next-generation AI infrastructure projects.
• Offers regional project exposure across multiple markets, with opportunities to work alongside international customers, vendors and engineering teams.

Project/Goal:

• Direct regional enterprise infrastructure and AI Data Centre (AIDC) project delivery from end to end, managing stakeholder coordination and execution to satisfy scope, timeline, budget, and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Willing to travel overseas for extended project assignments.
• Working knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure, networking, security, data centre or AI infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with project planning, scheduling, risk management, budget tracking and delivery governance.

Good to Have:

• Exposure to regional or multi-country project delivery.
• Experience managing outsourced vendors and subcontractors.
• PMP, PRINCE2 or other relevant project management certification

Work Location:

• KL-based, remote working arrangements when not required on-site.
• Overseas deployment is a significant part of the role. Certain AI projects may require more than 50% travel, with assignments lasting up to approximately 3-5 months.
• Flights, hotel accommodation and country-based daily allowances are provided for overseas assignments.
