Your resume and cover letter, tailored to exactly what they’re hiring for.
HIKVISION in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Lead Project Manager to steer end-to-end AIoT/ICT programs. You will own master schedules, map dependencies, and drive on-time, on-budget outcomes across field, backend, and vendor teams.
You will manage subcontractors, ensure safety and compliance, govern vendors, and communicate project health to senior stakeholders. PMP/PRINCE2 credentials are valued.
End-to-End Project Delivery: Direct the full lifecycle management of complex, large-scale AIoT/ICT projects. Develop comprehensive project master schedules (WBS), map cross-module dependencies, and strictly manage the critical path.
Cross-Module Integration (Focus on Subcontractor Progress & Risk Management): Acting as the MSI, supervise and drive execution teams across various modules to ensure seamless, uninterrupted integration:
Field/Site Engineering Control: Manage and expedite ELV and site construction subcontractors. Closely monitor the physical deployment of edge devices (e.g., CCTV systems, IoT sensors) and cabling infrastructure. Proactively identify and mitigate on-site safety, compliance, and schedule delay risks.
Backend Infrastructure Oversight: Coordinate with hardware, software and network integration vendors. Track delivery, installation, and commissioning milestones for servers, network architecture, and cloud/data center infrastructure to prevent supply chain and base-environment deployment delays.
Software Outsourcing & Integration Management: Deeply manage external software development vendors (and internal R&D teams). Accurately assess the development progress and technical feasibility of customized business applications, proactively intervening in R&D bottlenecks. Focus heavily on mitigating cross-vendor API design and integration risks to ensure perfect interoperability between hardware/software systems and multi-source data.
Comprehensive Vendor & Subcontractor Governance: Evaluate, select, and govern multiple third-party vendors. Define and strictly enforce SLAs. Aggressively coordinate and resolve disputes or blame-shifting between different module subcontractors (e.g., field construction vs. backend debugging, hardware OEMs vs. software interfaces) to ensure overall delivery quality.
Budget & P&L Control: Take full ownership of the project budget. Enforce rigorous, granular cost control on material procurement, subcontractor labor, and software outsourcing resources to maintain or improve project margins. Effectively prevent and manage scope creep.
Key Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary liaison for Key Accounts, external consultants, and internal teams. Regularly report on project health and establish forward-looking risk mitigation and contingency plans.
Qualifications&Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronic/Telecommunications Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience: 5-8 years of project management experience in the AIOT/IT/ICT system integration sector. Proven track record as the Lead PM successfully delivering multi-million dollar large-scale integrated projects (e.g., Critical Infrastructure project, Government Project, High-end Commercial Project).
Technical Acumen: Deep hybrid technical background. In addition to software expertise, must be familiar with physical security/ELV systems and IT infrastructure architectures. And Software R&D & Team Management Experience is plus
Certifications: Valid PMP or PRINCE2 certification is Preferred. (CITPM or Scrum Master (CSM) certifications are pluses).
Soft Skills: Outstanding commercial negotiation, multi-party conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills. Possess strong "systems integration" thinking (bringing disparate parts into a unified whole) and the ability to maintain high output and target orientation in high-pressure, complex matrix environments.
Language: Professional working proficiency in English & Malay. Fluency in Mandarin is highly advantageous for effectively managing local site subcontractors and regional hardware/software vendors.
Remuneration:
Salary is negotiable and will commensurate with experience and qualifications
