Job summary

HSBC Malaysia is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the Debt Securities for Delivery Management / Triparty team. You will oversee processing, affirmation, and escalation across trade lifecycles, ensuring timely settlements and robust controls.

In this role you will manage relationships with multiple stakeholders, drive process improvements, and mentor junior staff while maintaining compliance with internal guidelines and external regulations.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting/finance/management/business.
• Capital market knowledge and trade life cycle understanding.
• Advanced MS Office skills (Excel/Word/PowerPoint).
• Fluent English with strong business communication.

Responsibilities

• Act as team leader and reference point for the team.
• Oversee delivery management and triparty processing across trades.
• Escalate and resolve operational issues with stakeholders.
• Support ad-hoc projects for Head of Operations and teams involving data analysis and budgeting.
• Ensure timely trade settlements and maintain strong operational controls.
