Oracle Malaysia seeks a dynamic leader to head OCI’s Data Centre Operations in Malaysia. You will drive innovation, manage teams of Datacenter Technicians and Field Engineers, and ensure world-class performance in a cloud environment.

As a senior leader in cloud hardware support, you will oversee 24/7 operations, mentor diverse teams, collaborate globally, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining regulatory compliance and strong customer satisfaction.

Job description

Lead OCI’s Data Centre Operations in Malaysia—drive innovation, manage teams, and ensure world-class performance in a dynamic cloud environment.

As a leader in the Cloud Hardware support organization, you will be responsible for leading teams of Datacenter Technicians and/or Field Engineers assigned for delivery of on-site support, installations, proactive services in a defined territory and/or data center sites across Malaysia. Focuses to meet the required service levels 24x7, improve and drive customer satisfaction, identify business opportunities and mitigate any operation gaps. The role involves significant communication at all levels internally and externally. A primary point of contact responsible for facilitating and providing advice and assistance on diverse situations and escalated issues.

Requirement:

• Proven leader of large, diverse teams in mission-critical IT environments with extensive data center exposure in hyperscale environments
• Strong technical and business acumen across infrastructure, DC operations and growth mindset
• Skilled communicator, able to influence across functions and senior management
• Experience with hiring, mentoring, and developing managers and staff
• Adaptable and resilient, thriving in complex, fast-paced environments
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience preferred.
