Job summary

ByteDance is seeking a Datacenter Operations Engineer (DCO) Graduate for an Infrastructure Engineering path, with a 2027 start. You will join the Global Operations team and contribute to hyperscale datacenter reliability and scalability, starting with foundational server and network skills.

As a graduate, you will have onboarding flexibility and opportunities to grow through hands-on experience, with emphasis on learning, collaboration, and process discipline within a fast-paced tech environment.

Team IntroductionThe Datacenter Infrastructure Engineering team supports the company's fast growth by building and operating hyperscale datacenters. The team manages the end to end lifecycle of server fleet, providing cloud solutions and various infrastructure services ensuring that they are scalable and are reliable.We are looking for talented individuals to join our team. As a graduate, you will get opportunities to pursue bold ideas, tackle complex challenges, and unlock limitless growth.Successful candidates must be able to commit to an onboarding date by the end of the year. • Learn to troubleshoot, repair and replace faulty components within a server.
• Learn to troubleshoot networking devices and cabling.

Qualifications

• Individuals who are completing or have recently completed a Bachelor's/ Master's/ PhD degree in Engineering or Facility Management or a related discipline.
• Be willing to learn about how hyperscale Data Center works starting from the basics
• Be willing to learn and practice what you have learned on the job.
• Be willing to create a positive work experience for everyone to contribute/learn/grow with mutual respect and dignity despite working in a fast-paced environment.
• Be willing to channel all creative energies to develop processes to make this a better workplace for everyone and avoid creating silos and division between teams.
