Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced data specialist to review supplier master data and ensure accuracy, completeness, and audit-ready documentation. The role requires strong Excel skills and familiarity with ServiceNow and Oracle ERP, along with 4+ years in data management or Shared Services.

The ideal candidate will communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders, resolve data discrepancies promptly, and contribute to process improvements for accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience with secondary school education.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency using computers and Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel etc.
• Experience handling structured requests or service management systems is desirable.
• Knowledge of ERP systems is desirable.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Review and process supplier master data requests received.
• Verify supplier master data for accuracy, completeness and consistency with system records prior to processing.
• Accurately update supplier master data in the system in accordance with established procedures, guidelines and documentation required, ensuring all changes are properly documented and supported for audit purposes.
• Communicate with suppliers and relevant stakeholders to obtain missing information, clarify incomplete submissions, and confirm updates when required.
• Identify data discrepancies, seek clarification where necessary and elevate unresolved issues to the supervisor in a timely manner while supporting the resolution process.
• Identify and highlight recurring issues or gaps in requests and support improvements to enhance data accuracy and process efficiency.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Knowledge of another language (French, Spanish, Arabic, Russian, or Mandarin) is an advantage.
