Job summary

ZTE Malaysia is seeking a Security Operations professional to perform routine IDC area inspections, identify security risks, and support incident identification and escalation. The role requires coordinating with IDC Operations, Facilities, IT Operations and contractors, maintaining inspection logs, and supporting drills, testing and emergency activities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, IT, Engineering, Security Management, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in security operations, data centre security or site security.
• Experience in data centre/ IDC or large-scale projects is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of security procedures, access control, inspections, incident management and emergency response.
• Good command of English; Chinese proficiency is an advantage.
• Certifications in security, EHS, or data centre fields are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine security inspections within assigned IDC areas and identify risks or abnormal conditions.
• Support implementation and execution of client security procedures and operational controls.
• Assist in security-related incident identification, recording, escalation and follow-up.
• Assist in security risk remediation and closure tracking under Client direction.
• Support security drills, inspections, testing and emergency activities when requested.
• Maintain security records, inspection logs and related documentation.
• Coordinate with IDC operations, facilities, IT operations and other teams on security matters.
• Follow Client's security, confidentiality, access control and EHS requirements.
• Support other routine security activities within the agreed service scope.
