Wesco is seeking a Security Operations professional to provide on-site security support across client data centers in Malaysia. The role involves daily site walks, incident reporting, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure safety and security of data center infrastructure.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year of data center experience, familiarity with security devices, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience operating in a Data Center environment preferred.
• Proficient in report writing and incident response.
• Familiar with security devices (card readers, cameras) and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site security support in customer data centers and designated areas.
• Conduct daily site walks and report findings for escalation.
• Assist in safety investigations, incident documentation, and SOP development.
• Support high-value rack moves and deployments under security oversight.
• Participate in site safety compliance and physical audits.
• Serve as primary responder for security incidents at the site.
