Job summary

Neuron Solutions Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced Data Centre Operations Manager to take overall responsibility for day-to-day data centre performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, or related discipline.
• 5–10 years of experience in Data Centre Operations or similar.
• Proven experience managing a data centre or mission-critical facility with high availability.
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, UPS, generators, cooling, fire protection, DCIM, and BMS.
• Experience in people management, vendor management, and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills.
• Able to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations and performance of the data centre.
• Ensure high availability, reliability, security, and continuity of data centre services.
• Oversee incident management, service recovery, and root cause analysis for major operational issues.
• Establish and maintain operational procedures, escalation processes, and emergency response plans.
• Monitor data centre performance and operational KPIs, and drive timely corrective actions.
• Oversee the availability and performance of data centre infrastructure (power, cooling, UPS, generators, fire protection, monitoring).
• Lead, manage, develop, and align the data centre operations team, including manpower planning and performance reviews.
• Manage vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure SLA compliance and service quality.
• Coordinate with IT, Network, Security, Facilities and stakeholders to support operations and projects.
• Ensure third-party personnel comply with site access, safety, and operational requirements.
