Job summary

Aolani Cloud in Malaysia is seeking an Infrastructure Support Technician to join our data center team. You will execute installation, decommissioning, relocation of servers and network devices, and perform hands-on troubleshooting.

Responsibilities include structured cabling, incident and change management, facility monitoring, inventory, and security/compliance. Experience with Jira/ServiceNow and DCIM tools is preferred; Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in IT, CS, Engineering or related field.
• Understanding of computer and server hardware components.
• Strong problem-solving and methodical work under pressure.
• Team player with customer-centric mindset and excellent communication.
• Willingness to work in a 24/7 rotational shift; ability to lift up to 20 kgs.

Responsibilities

• Install, decommission, and relocate servers and network devices.
• Troubleshoot hardware components and replace parts.
• Manage physical cabling and ensure airflow.
• Respond to incidents via ticketing system and manage lifecycle.
• Perform planned changes with detailed plans and SOPs.
• Monitor data center environment for power, cooling, and safety.
• Track data center assets from receipt to disposal.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of operations.
• Enforce security protocols and manage on-site vendors.
