Job summary

RONGSHENG HIGH TECH MALAYSIA SDN BHD is seeking an on-site technician with an associate degree or higher in CS/EE/Mechatronics. The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing server hardware, replacing failed components, and completing on-site reports within 24 hours.

The candidate should be comfortable with Linux basics, able to generate clear work orders in English, and may hold vendor server maintenance certifications to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in CS/EE/Mechatronics or related field.
• Hands-on server hardware maintenance and repair experience.
• Familiar with Linux systems and basic Linux commands.
• Good English reading/writing for work orders and site reports.
• Server maintenance certification from major vendors is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive and schedule maintenance work orders with customers.
• Diagnose server hardware faults on site.
• Replace faulty server components (CPU, GPU, memory, drives, etc.).
• Verify repairs with stress and diagnostic tests.
• Complete on-site service reports within 24 hours.
• Close work orders and complete required documentation.
• Return replaced spare parts to the warehouse.
• Handle RMA/ARMA spare parts shipping and returns.
• Escalate anomalies per SOW procedures.

Job description

Associate degree or above in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields.

Hands-on experience in general server hardware maintenance and repair.

Familiar with Linux systems; able to query, verify, and diagnose using basic Linux commands.

Basic English reading and writing skills; able to complete English work orders and on-site service reports.

Server maintenance certification from major vendors such as Inspur, Dell, or HPE is a plus.

Responsible and detail-oriented, strong hands-on ability, and good customer communication skills.

Job Responsibilities:
