Job summary

LINKWING CLOUD TECH MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to develop maintenance standards, work instructions, and processes for server PCBA, aiming to control repair yield, efficiency, and costs.

You will lead failure analysis, drive 8D improvements across R&D, engineering, and production, manage maintenance technicians, interface with customer repair requirements, select tools and spare parts, and promote monthly maintenance analytics to boost process yield.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in electronic engineering or related field.
• 5+ years as a maintenance engineer in server PCBA or electronics.
• Skilled with AOI/AXI/ICT/FCT testing equipment and BGA rework.
• Able to read server motherboard schematics and IPC-A-610 standards.
• Proficient with QC seven tools and 8D report writing.
• Fluent in English and Chinese for client interfacing.

Responsibilities

• Lead failure analysis and root cause identification for defective product batches, produce 8D improvement reports, and drive cross‑functional improvements.
• Responsible for skill training, team building, and daily management of maintenance technicians.
• Interface with customer return repair requirements and produce failure analysis and improvement outputs for server motherboard returns.
• Select maintenance equipment/tools, establish maintenance specifications, and manage spare parts.
• Collect maintenance data, produce monthly maintenance analysis reports, and promote process yield improvement.

Job description

1. Develop maintenance standards, work instructions, and processes for server PCBA, controlling repair yield, efficiency, and costs.
2. Lead failure analysis and root cause identification for batches of defective products, produce 8D improvement reports, and drive R&D, engineering, and production departments to complete closed-loop improvements.
3. Responsible for the skill training, team building, and daily management of maintenance technicians.
4. Interface with customer return product repair requirements, complete failure analysis and improvement report output for server motherboard customer returns.
5. Select maintenance equipment/tools, establish maintenance specifications, and manage spare parts.
6. Collect maintenance data, produce monthly maintenance analysis reports, and promote process yield improvement.

1. Associate degree or higher, majoring in electronic engineering or related fields.
2. Over 5 years of experience as a maintenance engineer in server PCBA or other electronics industries, proficient in full-process defect analysis and failure localization for SMT/DIP.
3. Skilled in using AOI/AXI/ICT/FCT testing equipment, BGA rework stations, able to read complex server motherboard schematics and PCB files, familiar with IPC-A-610 standards.
4. Proficient in QC seven tools, 8D report writing, with strong problem analysis and solving abilities.
5. Proficient in operating failure analysis instruments (oscilloscope, RLC bridge, logic analyzer, adjustable power supply, multimeter).
6. Fluent in both Chinese and English, capable of interfacing with client technical requirements.
