Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Data Center Sr Engineer in Malaysia, Iskandar Puteri, to lead advanced preventative maintenance and complex repairs across mechanical and electrical systems. You will mentor junior engineers and ensure service delivery meets CBRE standards.

You will monitor BMS alarms, coordinate safety compliance, document outcomes, and drive continuous improvement through SOPs and risk assessments on critical facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4–5 years of relevant work experience.
• Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced preventative maintenance and complex repairs on mechanical and electrical systems in the data center.
• Provide leadership and guidance to junior team members.
• Respond to BMS alarms and coordinate emergency repairs as needed.
• Document findings and report to management with clear recommendations.
• Review meter readings from UPS and PDU to ensure accurate records.
• Develop SOPs, Job Hazard Analyses, and risk assessments for critical work.
