Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer in Malaysia to provide advanced administrative support to the project management team. You will handle documentation, financial modeling, reconciliations, and reporting to drive project success.

The role focuses on managing cabling infrastructure deployments, collaborating with vendors and internal stakeholders, and ensuring adherence to policies and standards within data centers and enterprise IT facilities.

Qualifications

• Strong background in managing the deployment of network cabling infrastructure.
• Experience in data centers, enterprise IT facilities, or telecommunications environments.
• Collaboration with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to meet project objectives.
• Familiarity with cabling standards such as TIA/EIA or ISO/IEC.

Responsibilities

• Manage the implementation of and monitor adherence to project administrative practices and policies.
• Create and maintain project policies and directives within the project operations manual.
• Troubleshoot and resolve inquiries concerning performance reports and project tracking data; audit and report on KPIs.
• Schedule internal and external training on software applications.
• Oversee team close-out procedures and prepare complex client reports.
• Train and provide guidance to new and junior team members on policies and administration.
• Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.
