Job summary
Alibaba Cloud in Malaysia is seeking a hands-on IT O&M professional to perform daily operations, handle work orders, troubleshoot faults, and support server/network infrastructure in a data centre. The role emphasizes strict SOP compliance, accurate records, and collaboration with IT Operations, Facilities, and vendors.
You will work on-site, support change activities, prepare operational reports, and escalate complex issues to senior experts.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in IT, CS, Networking, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of IT Operations & Maintenance experience.
- Data Centre IDC environment experience preferred.
- Familiarity with IT service management, tickets and incidents.
- Ability to follow SOPs and change procedures accurately.
- English proficiency required; Chinese an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Execute daily IT O&M activities per Alibaba Cloud SOPs.
- Receive, execute and track work orders/tickets.
- Perform basic fault identification, troubleshooting and escalation.
- Support hardware installation/removal, replacement and configuration.
- Support server reboot, migration, rack-in/rack-out activities.
- Maintain operation records and ticket information.
- Prepare daily/weekly operational reports.
- Escalate complex issues to Expert/Senior Expert or Alibaba Cloud team.
