Oracle Malaysia is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead OCI’s Data Centre Operations, driving innovation, managing teams of Datacenter Technicians and Field Engineers, and ensuring world-class performance in a dynamic cloud environment.

You will oversee 24/7 operations, deploy regional data center sites, and collaborate globally to meet service levels, while focusing on recruitment, coaching, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading large, diverse teams in mission-critical IT environments.
• Extensive data center exposure in hyperscale environments.
• Strong communication and ability to influence senior management.
• Experience hiring, mentoring, and developing managers and staff.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience preferred.

Lead OCI’s Data Centre Operations in Malaysia—drive innovation, manage teams, and ensure world-class performance in a dynamic cloud environment.

As a Operations Manager in the Cloud Hardware support organization, you will be responsible for leading teams of Datacenter Technicians and/or Field Engineers assigned for delivery of on-site support, installations, proactive services in a defined territory and/or data center sites across Malaysia. Focuses to meet the required service levels 24x7, improve and drive customer satisfaction, identify business opportunities and mitigate any operation gaps. The role involves significant communication at all levels internally and externally. A primary point of contact responsible for facilitating and providing advice and assistance on diverse situations and escalated issues.
