Job summary

Aolani is seeking a commercially minded operator to help build and run its Malaysia business. You will drive local execution across vendor negotiations, customs and regulatory coordination, cross-functional delivery, and end-to-end process improvement.

This is a high-ownership, non-engineering role at the intersection of commercial, operations, and infrastructure in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in any discipline.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills across teams and external stakeholders.
• Strong ownership and problem-solving abilities, able to manage multiple workstreams.
• Good written and verbal English; Mandarin is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive vendor selection, commercial negotiations and contract execution.
• Coordinate customs and regulatory coordination to enable timely deployment.
• Own local execution and cross-functional delivery with HQ, vendors and data center teams.
• Identify gaps and streamline processes to build a scalable operating model in Malaysia.

Key responsibilities

• Commercial & Vendor Negotiation: Drive vendor selection, commercial negotiations and contract execution, balancing cost, service quality and delivery requirements.
• Operational Excellence: Identify structural gaps and streamline processes, ownership and reporting to build a faster and more scalable Malaysia operating model.
• Customs and Regulatory Coordination: Own local customs, tax exemption and licensing workstreams to enable timely equipment deployment and business operations.
• Cross-functional Delivery: Coordinate across HQ, vendors and data center teams to align dependencies, resolve blockers and keep critical milestones on track.

About you
