Job summary

Aolani is seeking a commercially minded operator to lead our Malaysia business in Kuala Lumpur. You will drive local execution across vendor negotiations, customs and regulatory coordination, cross-functional delivery, and end-to-end process improvements.

This high-ownership, non-engineering role sits at the intersection of commercial, operations and infrastructure, requiring strong communication and the ability to manage multiple workstreams across teams and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and external stakeholders.
• Strong ownership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and follow through to completion.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English; Mandarin proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive vendor selection, negotiations and contract execution balancing cost, service quality and delivery.
• Identify gaps and streamline processes to build scalable Malaysia operating model.
• Own local customs, tax exemption and licensing workstreams for timely deployment.
• Coordinate across HQ, vendors and data center teams to align dependencies and milestones.

• Operational Excellence: Identify structural gaps and streamline processes, ownership and reporting to build a faster and more scalable Malaysia operating model.
• Customs and Regulatory Coordination: Own local customs, tax exemption and licensing workstreams to enable timely equipment deployment and business operations.
• Cross-functional Delivery: Coordinate across HQ, vendors and data center teams to align dependencies, resolve blockers and keep critical milestones on track.
