Job summary

Aolani Cloud is seeking a Detail‑oriented Inventory and Asset Management professional for our Kuala Lumpur data center. You will oversee the physical asset lifecycle from receiving to retirement, ensuring stock aligns with DCIM/CMDB records and supporting hardware deployments and repairs.

The role requires a diploma or degree in IT, Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering, familiarity with data center operations, and the ability to lift up to 20 kg.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain, Business or Engineering.
• Understanding of IT hardware and data center operations.
• Ability to work in a data center and lift up to 20 kg.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage loading dock operations: receive, inspect, unbox and record assets before deployment.
• Maintain critical spares inventory and monitor reorder needs.
• Coordinate vendor RMAs and on-site repairs under maintenance contracts.
• Keep DCIM/CMDB records current as assets move through lifecycle.
• Conduct physical audits and cycle counts; reconcile stock with records.
• Maintain chain-of-custody and data destruction/disposal per standards.
• Coordinate vendor visits and log replacement parts before sign-off.
• Support engineers during installs, decommissions, and relocations; share best practices.
