Job summary

Aolani Cloud is seeking a data center asset management specialist at our Johor Bahru location. You will manage the physical asset lifecycle from receiving to retirement, ensuring alignment with DCIM/CMDB records and secure handling of hardware.

The role requires 1–3 years in inventory/logistics, familiarity with DCIM tools, and the ability to work in a shift-based environment. Applicants should be able to lift up to 20 kg and communicate with regional stakeholders in Mandarin when needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in IT, SCM, Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years in inventory or data center/logistics.
• Experience with DCIM or asset tools such as NetBox, Device42 or Nlyte, or SAP/ServiceNow Asset Management.
• Ability to lift up to 20 kg.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, unbox and palletize assets and record before deployment.
• Maintain critical spares inventory and monitor par levels.
• Coordinate vendor RMAs and on-site repairs.
• Keep DCIM/CMDB and asset records current.
• Conduct physical audits and cycle counts and reconcile stock.
• Maintain chain-of-custody and data destruction per standards.
• Coordinate vendor and technician visits and log replacement parts.
• Support data center operations during installs, decommissions and relocations.
