Job summary

Johnson Controls Malaysia is seeking a Sales Manager, Controls to drive the adoption of BMS and controls technologies across the data center ecosystem. You will engage with hyperscalers, data center operators, EPCs, consultants, and developers to influence design decisions and secure procurement.

You will lead proposals, design risk assessments, and deliver compelling demonstrations while achieving annual sales and margin targets within a dynamic, multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics or related engineering field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in BMS, Controls, ELV, or mission-critical M&E systems.
• Strong understanding of BMS architecture and HVAC controls.
• Experience with consultants, EPCs, and DC stakeholders in Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Drive BMS growth in Malaysia's data center sector by engaging with consultants, EPCs and owners.
• Prepare technical proposals, system designs, tenders, and quotations.
• Conduct product presentations and solution demonstrations to customers.
• Negotiate commercial terms and secure contracts.
• Maintain pipeline management and provide sales forecasting.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
