Job summary

Genesis Networks Pte Ltd is seeking an Admin Assistant for Data Center Asset & Operations to manage IT hardware records, inventory accuracy, and administrative workflows across server rooms and storage facilities.

The role requires 2+ years in IT asset management or related fields, proficiency with Excel/Sheets, and familiarity with ITSM ticketing systems. Based in Iskandar Puteri, you will support procurement and access processes.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain/Logistics, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of administrative experience in IT asset management, warehouse/logistics, or technical facilities support.
• Data center or IT warehouse experience is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and inventory database systems.
• Familiarity with ITSM ticketing systems and barcode/asset scanning tools.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage high-volume tasks under deadlines.
• High level of integrity regarding physical security and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Receive, log, and inspect incoming IT hardware (servers, switches, cables, and related components), verifying items against delivery and purchase orders.
• Apply asset tags and register equipment details (location, serial numbers) into the inventory database.
• Maintain organized storage areas and lockboxes for high-value components; manage check-in/check-out of tools and spare parts.
• Conduct periodic inventory audits to ensure database accuracy and track equipment movements (returns, swaps, reallocations).
• Log and track work orders/tickets, monitor SLA compliance, and support engineers with status updates.
• Assist with visitor/vendor access requests and maintain visitor logs and compliance documentation.
• Prepare inventory and dispatch reports for site management; support administrative procurement and vendor documentation tasks.
