Job summary

Gulf Agency Company seeks an Operations Supervisor – Customs & Regulatory Compliance in Malaysia. Based at Taman Rengit Sentral, Johor, you will supervise the operations team and oversee all customs regulatory, permit and license activities, ensuring compliance and efficient coordination with branches, vendors, and authorities.

The role requires a Diploma or Degree in related fields and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in customs operations or logistics supervision, with strong knowledge of

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, Maritime Management, or related fields.
• At least 3 years’ experience in customs operations, permits, licenses or logistics supervision.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian import/export regulations, customs procedures, and port operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and leading the operations team to ensure accurate and timely processing of customs declarations, permits, and licenses.
• Keep up-to-date with government regulations and communicate relevant information to colleagues and customers.
• Coordinating operational activities across branches to ensure efficient and cost-effective team performance.
• Preparing reports on customs declarations, billing and operational KPIs.
• Proactively identifying/resolving operational issues; escalating to the manager when necessary.
• Supporting the growth of the logistics department by assisting in business development initiatives.
• Be available and contactable for operational support when required.
• Carry out additional assignments as directed by management.
