Job summary

Talent Craft Consultancy in Malaysia’s Danga Bay, Johor Bahru, seeks a Logistics Supervisor to lead customs and import/export functions for a fast-growing manufacturer from China. Based in Danga Bay, you will head a shipping team to ensure smooth cross-border operations.

The role requires 5+ years of customs experience, strong leadership, and Mandarin fluency, with deep knowledge of Dagang Net and JKDM regulations. Competitive compensation and regular hours are offered.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, or international trade.
• At least 5 years of hands-on customs experience; 5+ years in supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian customs procedures, Dagang Net, and LMW operations.
• Fluent Mandarin; strong English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Demonstrated leadership and proactive problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Oversee import and export customs declarations and clearance processes.
• Ensure compliance with JKDM regulations.
• Manage HS code classification, customs valuation, and duty calculations.
• Liaise with customs authorities, forwarders, brokers and internal teams.
• Handle audits, licences, and exemptions (LMW, MIDA).
• Monitor regulatory changes and update internal procedures.
• Lead, mentor and supervise the customs and shipping team.
