Job summary

Medisgo Sdn Bhd in Penang invites a patient services assistant to support Indonesian patients at a hospital on-site. You will assist with hospital registration and admission procedures, guide patients to appointments, and greet them warmly.

The role requires fluent Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Malaysia and English, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to multitask and respond promptly to WhatsApp messages for patient coordination.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Comfortable with extensive walking and being on your feet for most of the day.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, empathetic, and service-oriented mindset.
• Able to multitask and stay responsive on WhatsApp throughout the day.
• Prior experience in customer service, hospitality, or healthcare is an advantage.
• Willing to be based on-site at the hospital.

Responsibilities

• Assist Indonesian patients with hospital registration and admission procedures.
• Accompany and guide patients to their doctor appointments and consultations.
• Meet and greet patients, providing warm and attentive support throughout their visit.
• Address and resolve patient concerns and queries promptly and professionally.
• Liaise with hospital staff, doctors, and internal teams to coordinate patient care.
• Monitor and respond promptly to WhatsApp group messages for patient coordination and updates.
• Provide translation/interpretation support as needed (Bahasa Indonesia/Bahasa Malaysia/Mandarin are preferred).
