Job summary

GAC Group is seeking a Customer Service Representative based in Kelana Jaya, Petaling Jaya HQ to deliver exceptional service and support expanding operations. This role requires handling end-to-end logistics tasks, billing, documentation and collaboration with internal teams for efficient operations.

The ideal candidate has a logistics-related degree and 3–4 years of customer service or freight forwarding experience, with proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in logistics, supply chain, shipping or related field.
• 3–4 years of experience in customer service, logistics or freight forwarding.
• Experience in sea freight is preferred (Import + Export).

Job Description

Role: Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Customer Service Representative to be based in Kelana Jaya, Petaling Jaya, to deliver exceptional customer service and support the expansion of our business.

Responsibilities

• Manage existing customer accounts through timely, professional communication
• Handle customer enquiries, service requests and operational updates
• Handle end-to-end logistics operations, including booking, documentation, shipment coordination, billing, and job completion.
• Accurate, timely data entry into internal operating systems and third-party platforms
• Verify job cost allocations, provisions and billing information to ensure invoicing accuracy
• Coordinate submission of documentation for invoice preparation, e-billing and dispatch
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly operational and financial reports
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with company procedures
• Ensure compliance with customs, port, airport, and international trade regulations
• Identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency and service quality
• Collaborate with internal teams to support smooth logistics operations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Shipping or a related field
• At least 3-4 years of relevant experience in customer service, logistics or freight forwarding
• Experience in sea freight is preferred (Import + Export)
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia, in written and spoken communication
• Office-based role; commute to Kelana Jaya, Petaling Jaya, required
