Job summary

JHM Consolidation Berhad is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to manage customer queries and lead 8D discussions, ensuring containment and preventing recurrence. You will oversee supplier quality, MRB processes, and chịght daily QA activities in a dynamic electronics/manufacturing context.

The role emphasizes in‑process QC, NCA follow‑ups, and collaboration with Operations & Engineering for continuous improvement, with Mandarin language skills preferred for Mandarin-speaking clients.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Engineering.
• Experience: 2–3 years in the relevant industry.
• Mandarin reading/writing preferred as role requires dealing with mandarin-speaking clients.
• Knowledge of quality control tools and SPC; 6 sigma yellow belt preferred.
• Industry: Consumer Electronics Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Manage customers queries and complaints.
• Lead 8D discussion meetings and CA effectiveness follow-up.
• Manage corporate KPI.
• In-process quality control, NCA follow-up to prevent recurrence.
• Lead a team of QA staff to perform daily routine job function.
• Supplier quality management.
• Incoming and in-process quality control.
• MRB control.
• Support ad-hoc activities requested by superior.
• Nonconformance and MRB control.
• Responsible for the FAI Report Qualification for any new supplier/ new part/ tooling change or transfer.
• Work with Operations & Engineering team for continuous improvement.
• Work together with supplier for any NPI parts improvement/ changes in the drawing / correlation on the measurement method and other issue related to the NPI raw parts.
