Job summary

HYGR SDN BHD is seeking a Retail Assistant/Salesperson for IOI Damansara on a full-time contract (6 months, renewable). You will greet customers, provide product information, and process sales at the POS while maintaining accurate daily records.

You should have at least SPM or equivalent, with prior retail or customer service experience. A friendly, punctual, and customer-oriented attitude is essential, with Bahasa Malaysia and English communication skills.

Qualifications

• SPM or equivalent qualification required.
• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Friendly, well-groomed and customer-oriented.
• Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist walk-in customers with product information and recommendations.
• Distribute samples hygienically and clean testers before and after shifts.
• Process purchases via Point of Sales (POS) or manually, ensuring accurate records.
• Keep cart clean, organized, and well stocked at all times.
• Reconcile cash and digital payments at day-end and report discrepancies.
• Submit daily sales, cash, and stock reports and alert supervisor on low or fast-moving stock.
• Stay updated on product features, ingredients, and promotions to better assist customers.
