Job summary

HYGR SDN BHD is seeking a Retail Assistant/Salesperson for Sunway Carnival on a full-time contract (6 months, renewable). You will greet customers, provide product information, handle transactions, and maintain displays. The role requires a friendly, punctual, and customer-focused attitude with basic cashier knowledge in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

The position offers exposure to fast-paced retail operations and opportunities for growth within the team.

Qualifications

Requires minimum SPM qualification or equivalent.
Prior retail or customer service experience is an advantage.
Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
Friendly, well-groomed and customer-oriented.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist walk-in customers with product information and recommendations.
Distribute samples hygienically and clean testers before and after shifts.
Process purchases via POS or manually and ensure accurate records.
Keep cart clean, organized, and well stocked at all times.
Reconcile cash and digital payments at day-end and report discrepancies.
Submit daily sales, cash, and stock reports and alert supervisor on low or fast-moving stock.
Stay updated on product features, ingredients, and promotions to better assist customers.
