Job summary

Fadason Sdn. Bhd. (FSB) is seeking a Service Advisor for its Toyota Service Centre in Malaysia. The role is customer-focused, acting as the main liaison between customers and the workshop to deliver accurate service information and a premium aftersales experience.

You will greet customers, record concerns, prepare repair orders and explain costs, while coordinating with technicians to ensure timely completion and high satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Automotive, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in automotive aftersales is an advantage.
• Candidates with automotive technical knowledge are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers professionally and understand their vehicle service or repair requirements.
• Inspect vehicles together with customers and accurately record concerns.
• Prepare repair orders and explain recommended maintenance, repairs, estimated costs and completion times.
• Coordinate with Technicians, Technical Leaders and workshop personnel to ensure work is completed efficiently.
• Provide customers with timely updates on the progress of their vehicles.
• Obtain customer approval before carrying out additional repairs or replacement work.
• Explain completed repairs, maintenance work and invoices during vehicle collection.
• Recommend appropriate Toyota maintenance services, parts and related aftersales products.
• Ensure all service documentation and customer information are accurately recorded.
• Handle customer enquiries, complaints and follow-up professionally.
• Follow up with customers after servicing where required.
• Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction and service quality.
• Achieve assigned Service Advisor KPIs, including service sales, customer satisfaction and productivity targets.
